I stumbled upon this series shortly after finishing the Harry Potter set. It is still one of my best library day discoveries. Trying to find another fiction adventure that I could devour as I did with J.K. Rowling’s treasured series is no easy task.
It was easily the illustrated book covers that first caught my attention. Peter Ferguson is the artist responsible for bringing Mr. Buckley’s nine books to visual life. Mr. Ferguson’s drawings are in perfect sync with the author’s richly descriptive storytelling. He truly captures the character’s personalities right down to their quirks.
